Abstract
Description
A white paper analyzing Maine's Certificate of Need (CON) program and its impact on healthcare access and cost efficiency. Commissioned by Better Solutions for Healthcare, the study provides a neutral, evidence-based assessment now being reviewed by the Maine Legislature's Commission on Health Care Transactions. Plans are underway to adapt the paper for academic publication and to expand its methodology into broader analyses of healthcare innovation and rural development.
